Open source
I am the creator/maintainer of many packages for OpenWrt, a Linux operating system targeting wireless routers and other embedded devices, including:
- Python interpreter and various Python library packages
- Go compiler and a system to package other Go programs for OpenWrt
- byobu, a text-based window manager and terminal multiplexer
- obfs4proxy, a censorship circumvention tool
- slide-switch, a package for devices with a sliding switch, to make the switch easier to program
I am the author of several plugins for gedit, a popular open source text editor:
- Control Your Tabs – switch tabs using Ctrl-Tab
- Ex-Mortis – reopen closed windows and restore windows between sessions
- Necronomicon – reopen recently-closed files
- Newline Madness – change newline type / line endings for current document
- Tab Group Salute – switch tab groups using Ctrl+` (backquote / backtick)
I am also the author of Google Cache Continue Redux, a userscript to browse websites using Google’s cache that was featured in Lifehacker.
On StackOverflow, I am in the top 0.4% of all users in Hong Kong and top 3% worldwide.
